Dr. Albert V. Retodo is a second-generation Bay Area physician, following in the footsteps of his father. He served his internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at East Carolina University/Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina. Dr. Retodo returned to the Bay Area, where he received his Fellowship in Electrodiagnosis, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, Sports Medicine and Pain while working with Marko Bodor, MD, in Napa and at Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa. He served his Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management with Christopher Chen, M.D. in Pleasanton before joining the staff of orthopedic surgeon John Warbritton, M.D. in Oakland. Dr. Retodo was the 2005 recipient of the American Pain Society Essentials of Pain Management: Principles and Practice Scholarship He also won the 2005 Pfizer Pain Management Scholarship Award, which is awarded annually for scholarly activity in the field of Pain Management.
