Dr. Bagherian is the clinical director of Synapse Health Center and has been in clinical practice since 1997. His clinical specialty is in the area of soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries from industrial and sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and chronic conditions. Dr. Bagherian holds Diplomates from the American Academy of Pain Management and the American Board of Forensic Examiners. He is a Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator and has been operating one of few computerized FCE laboratories in Northern California. Dr. Bagherian became a Qualified Medical Examiner in 2001 and has lectured on functional capacity evaluations, impairment, and disability rating using the AMA Guides 5th edition.
Dr. Bagherian represented Team USA as the team doctor for the 2007 Muay-Thai World Cup in Bangkok and the TAFISA / Trex Games under the International Olympic Committee in South Korea in 2008. He has treated and continues to treat local and international professional athletes from the NHL, NFL, USTA, UFC, USMF, and IFMA.
Dr. Bagherian has three children and enjoys skiing, tennis, golf, fishing, and martial arts in his spare time.
