Jed M. Sussman, Ph.D., started his higher education at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison N.J., where he received his B.A. He moved to the Bay Area, receiving his M.S. from California State University and his doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology in Berkeley. Dr. Sussman has worked in the field since 1976 and specializes in neuropsychologic and psychiatric disability assessment, psychological treatment, rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. He is board certified by the American College of Forensic Examiners.
Dr. Sussman enjoys golf, biking and sailing on the Bay. He also enjoys roasting his own gourmet coffee. In his spare time, he works on the book he anticipates having published. Among his future plans Dr. Sussman intends to learn scuba diving.

Specialized experience and training in disability assessment and treatment of adults with bona fide and suspected disabling conditions including head/brain injury, psychiatric disorders, neurologic conditions, chronic pain, somatoform disorders, medical disorders with a concurrent psychiatric condition. Extensive experience working in the medical arena, interdisciplinary planning, forensic and medical-legal consultation and IME’s, QME and AME assessments for the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, California Department of Industrial Relations, and disability assessment for private disability carriers and administrators.

Neuropsychologic and psychological assessment and treatment of individuals with suspected or bona fide head injuries, chronic pain, and/or psychiatric conditions. Psychiatric disability assessment per request of physicians. attorneys, insurers and corporations.
