Mark Kimmel was born and raised in New York City. He attended Stuyvesant High School and City University of New York (CCNY), where he received his B.A.. He received both his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the California School of Professional Psychology, Berkeley. Mark is an avid jazz fan and enjoys tinkering with older German cars. His other interests include film, biking and hiking. His wife is a clinical psychologist, practicing in the East Bay. They have two daughters, both involved in health care.
He has been active in California’s Workers’ Compensation community since 1985 and is a consultant in the areas of pain management, disability management and risk management.
